The East Valley Family YMCA offers many special events for our members and the community. Annual events include our Community Support Campaign, Healthy Kids Day, Volunteer Recognition Dinner, YMCA America on the Move, and Community Prayer Breakfast.

Upcoming Events

Flick and Float

Once a month, 6-9:30pm
Come take a dip in our pool and float around with your family.  After your swim, there will be an animated movie presentation with popcorn and other treats for your family to enjoy.

Healthy Kids Day

Healthy Kids Day is a national event celebrating healthy living and helping kids and families embrace habits that can become a lifelong practice.  A special day of family learning and fun, this annual event emphasizes the fact that attaining and maintaining good health can and should be enjoyable.  There are games and prizes for everyone!

 

America On the Move Week

September 20-27, 2008
The East Valley Family YMCA is planning a variety of fun-filled events and activities during America On the Move Week at the YMCA from September 20-27, 2008. These events aim to motivate and mobilize thousands of Americans to take small steps towards a healthier lifestyle. Through this partnership, America On the Move and the YMCA will inspire individuals and families to incorporate healthier living activities into their daily routines through "small steps" to get them active and moving. This week long effort will culminate in a 5K Walk, Run or Bike around the East Valleys own Lake Cunningham Park on September 20, 2008.
