Our YMCA Today

The YMCA of Santa Clara Valley is a leading nonprofit community service organization, serving Santa Clara County with 5 health and fitness facilities, a resident camp, and nearly 100 child care locations.

Today, the YMCA of Santa Clara Valley has more than 100,000 members who benefit from child care, youth sports, recreation, and family, leadership and mentoring programs. In fact, the YMCA is the largest provider of child care locally and nationally.

The YMCA promotes the core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility through programs that help build a healthy spirit, mind, and body.

All people are welcomed to the YMCA, where we strive to build strong kids, strong families, and strong communities.

->Our Mission:

The YMCA of Santa Clara Valley, based upon Judeo-Christian principles, is committed to strengthening and enriching the development of individuals and families through quality programs and services that build a healthy spirit, mind and body for all.

->How We Are Funded:

YMCA funding is generated from membership and program fees, individual and corporate donors, foundations and grants, and the United Way of Silicon Valley. The annual Community Support Campaign raises money for financial assistance to ensure that no one is turned away for lack of funds in an atmosphere of inclusion and support. The expansion of local facilities is done through the YMCA Capital Development Campaign, contributing to the health and well-being of residents of the Santa Clara Valley and surrounding areas.
